Very nice atmosphere. Hygiene concept ok. The waiter funny but appropriate. There were six of us, the judgment of the food very different. The vegan curry was particularly tasty. Four stars for the atmosphere.

I love good food. Here you can experience very good cuisine that can also be called that. We felt very welcome and let every bite melt on our tongues with pleasure. Perfect!

When the weather is nice, the courtyard offers plenty of space for large groups and it is very cozy.

Went with friends last Saturday. Very pleasant atmosphere and despite Corona a small but fine kitchen. The wild boar dish was excellent and the dessert was perfect too. Very nice service. We will come back in any case.

Super delicious food, especially the game dishes are very recommendable and were prepared to the point! The ambience is very nice and in the outdoor area on a very high beer garden level with friendly and fixed wait staff. Price-performance ratio is definitely top. All in all very recommendable and therefore 5 stars.

HR lured us to this place. We wanted to try the praised Rathausschnitzel, but disappointingly we were told by a waitress that it was only for an award to receive was created. Classic, slightly modified home cooking with fashionable "imaginative" names and the delightful surroundings blind the senses.

Was in the restaurant at rush hour: fast and competent service, charismatic head waiter, very good food, nice courtyard atmosphere in historical surroundings. We recommend!

We had our lunch here today and everything was right: friendly and attentive staff, a very nice beer garden, a varied menu. The food was delicious, as was the wine. All at fair prices. One can only say: CONTINUE!

This restaurant does what it says on the tin. The food was excellent and the dishes are very varied, especially for people who like to eat vegetarian and do not like the usual home cooking like black pudding and pork at all. A top address for Michelstadt. The toilets are clean, the beer garden is well-kept and the service staff is very competent. Keep it up!

Both dishes were excellent. The staff was friendly and very warm. Requests were made very promptly. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. We felt very comfortable. If we are back in the city, we will go there. Definitely! ???

If, despite many free tables, a drafty seat is assigned and the waitress notices you shouldn't be impolite when asked about another option, that's outrageous. Even when eating, when asked why a bratwurst is covered with mustard in the kitchen, it was said that it would be on the menu. Such a thing is not possible even in the simplest snack bar. Just bad. But you don't have to come back.

I was now eating more often with my wife in the green tree and was absolutely thrilled every time. The food tastes just excellent, the ambience is great and the service is very personable. You can order blindly from the menu, have never had anything to complain about. The portions are very good and the price for this quality is just top, 5 stars!

That's how hospitality goes ... Thanks a lot to the Bär family and the entire team from the Grüner Baum. We had another great day in May in Michelstadt, in the perfect accommodation. The food was just awesome, from the breakfast to the delicious menu in the evening. We'll be back soon, no question

A beautiful old half-timbered house with a beer garden which is partially surrounded by a city wall. We had the upgrade to the junior suite. Beautiful room with a bay window and a great bathroom with large rain shower. The meal was excellent. Overall, the overall price / performance ratio was consistent. Highly Recommended!

The zucchini soup was amazing.... The deer "haxen" (pictured) was tasty and the meat was very tender, but the accompanying dumplings and brocolli were very bland and uninteresting. I had higher hopes after eating the soup which may have skyrocketed my expectations prematurely... Will try again though.

In the very cozy garden on the historic city wall was for our family reunion extra a large table, provided with plenty of umbrellas, nicely set. The extremely friendly, attentive and quick service was happy to accommodate every request. The food was perfect in quantity and taste. Highly Recommended.

Hotel Zum Grunen Baum Well we were recommended this place for lunch by lady at the Jerusalem boutique and I am glad she did. What a beautiful place positioned just outside the town walls it is a lovely place to sit and eat in the sunshine we ordered drinks and they soon arrived our meals were not far behind, The food we got was superb we could not ask for better even though it was a touch of pot luck as our German is not great, mine I later found out was fried place with salad my wife had a assortment of cold meats with salad and assortment bread with a glass of the local fire water, which was spot on, we both said we would order that meal again as it was to our liking. The service was excellent what more can I say, Will we return on our next visit to the town Yes we will.
